EXAM
At the beginning of any successful relationship, there is the getting-to-know-each-other stage. After thoroughly reviewing your medical and dental health forms with you, we will ask you questions related to your general health and previous dental experiences.
We are particularly interested in what motivated you to visit our office and what your needs and expectations are. The comprehensive exam includes all aspects of your oral condition, complete with assessing the hard and soft tissues inside and around your mouth, head and neck. An oral cancer screening is part of this process. Digital radiographs and digital pictures complete the information we collect at this visit.
EXPLAIN
Dr. Nooshin Sotodeh and Dr. Hagen Knothe will thoroughly review the records and data they gathered with you during your initial visit. Based on their professional assessment, they will formulate a plan which prescribes treatments customized to your individual needs and conditions.
The second building block of a healthy relationship is for you to understand your health condition and the remedies available to improve them.
Before treatment commences, we will explain the status of your oral health to you and answer any questions you may have related to your treatment options. Once you feel you have a good understanding of how your dental health can be restored, treatment can begin.
